Cashout is a small, independent project — one person building an app for
quitting gambling, plus a free library of guides for people who need
the information now and can't wait for an App Store launch.
The person behind it
Bastien Youssfi — Founder, Cashout
I’m Bastien Youssfi, the founder building Cashout. The site publishes
free tools and guides on gambling controls, self-exclusion and support
while the iOS app is in development.
My role is to compile and explain the documentation linked in the guides.
I do not claim clinical qualifications, independent product testing or
personal recovery outcomes as evidence for these articles.
Questions, corrections, or something on this site that's out of date?
[email protected] — corrections get priority.
Guides link to regulator, operator and bank documentation where available. A source supports only the product, jurisdiction and claim it describes. Public-document reviews are not tests inside customer accounts; unresolved details should be confirmed with the provider.
Helpline source dates
The helpline directory records its source review date — currently August 19, 2026 — and links to the services. A website release does not mean every number has been rechecked. We do not claim to have placed test calls.
No affiliate links, ever
Product comparisons describe published features and limitations; they are not a clinical assessment or an independent effectiveness test. Nothing on this site is paid placement, and no page earns a commission when you sign up elsewhere.
Crisis resources stay free
The helpline directory and the cost calculator are free and will never sit behind an account or a paywall. Cashout is a paid app; getting help is not.
We say what the tools can't do
Coverage depends on the program, provider, device and payment method. A source that documents one control does not prove that every transaction or gambling site is blocked.
This is not therapy
Cashout is a self-help product in development. These guides are compiled by its founder and are not presented as clinical advice or as medically reviewed. For individual treatment, legal or debt decisions, use the appropriate qualified service.
The guides — quitting, sports betting, blocker apps, bank blocks, gambling debt,
and how to support a partner who gambles.
The app
Cashout launches on iOS soon
Streak and money tracking, a panic button for difficult moments, a day-by-day program built on CBT techniques, and
device-level blocking and guidance for enrolling in official self-exclusion programs. One email at
launch — nothing else.
