What to watch out for
No online enrollment - sign-up is in person only. Statewide exclusion includes racetracks and tribal gaming facilities. Applies only to gaming floors, not restaurants or hotels. After at least 1 year a person may petition the Board in writing for removal; the Board decides within 90 days.
Self-exclusion alone isn't enough
New Mexico's program only binds operators licensed in the state — offshore sites and crypto casinos ignore it. The setup that holds is layered: self-exclusion plus a gambling blocker on your devices plus a gambling block on your bank card.
